All of our valuation engagements include three approaches to value: income approach, market approach, and asset approach.
The income approach uses a company’s historical and/or future cash flow stream to determine its value.
The market approach utilizes valuation multiples derived from publicly traded companies and from sales of privately held companies in the same or similar industry.
The asset approach is used when the company has no apparent intangible value.
Depending on the needs of our clients and the purpose of the valuation, we offer different types of valuation services and reports. These range from opinion letters to calculation reports to comprehensive valuation reports including our opinion of fair market value.
